The Zavod44 Story

Zavod44 (Workshop 44 in Russian) is the creation of Artist/Designer Brian O’Neal. Brian is an avid history buff, and historical military aficionado, creating award winning scale models of various vehicles such as German and Russian Tanks and Aircraft. During the wars, Russian military equipment was built in Zavods, or Workshops that were then simply identified by a given number. Brian is also a major fanboy of retired #44 from the Chicago Blackhawks.

Brian has helped foster a community of Weber grill lovers across the Midwestern United States, and beyond. As an avid member and contributor to the Weber community, Brian wanted to share the custom Weber accessories he passionately forged for his own projects. His creations are now available to everyone! The Handcrafted natural wood grille handles are all designed, engineered and Hand crafted by Brian and his team at Zavod44 workshop. Using specialized CNC equipment, hand shaping tools, and artistry, each Zavod44 handle is one of a kind, and no two are identical.
